What is a BMS for?

Protecting, monitoring and controlling batteries is very important to create safe, simple and reliable energy storage systems.
BMS are safety and control units for any battery system. They protect the connected modules against abnormal variations in charge or temperature and check that the balance between the battery cells is correct.

BMS also monitor and control other important parameters, such as battery status or power consumption.
